Issue #30 - March 2020

Dear Readers,

Hope you had a happy February! I'm glad March is here--and we are one step closer to Spring. I think I am not alone when I say that the period after the holidays can be hard for lots of us. It's rather dreary weather, and the let down after all the busy holiday season can be hard.

I am especially excited about this month for a few reasons.

We are now in our house! We have enjoyed movies by our fireplace, meals on a tiny fold out table and lots and lots of reading in the library.

This picture, of a typical early morning walk with Ori, captures the magic and pace of the Sunshine Coast, which I didn't realize realize how much I was craving.

Luckily, I can still make it into Vancouver and the Greystone office twice a week, too.

On another note: check out this adorable new picture book by one of my closest, dearest friends, Vikki Vansickle.

And lastly, two new books of mine are on the horizon for the Spring.

The first is the sequel to Wings of Olympus, called Colt of the Clouds. I actually think I might like and the adventure in it even more than the first!

And this one, another Anne inspired picture book, If I Couldn't Be Anne, illustrated by the incomparable Genevieve Godbout.

I will share more about each on their official pub months (which is April for Colt of the Clouds and May for If I Couldn't Be Anne)
